This framed acrylic painting on cradled wooden board was inspired by a wooden toy zebra around which an imagined vase full of vibrant, otherworldly florals emerged.
The painting alone measures 20 x 16 x .75 inches. With the frame, it measures 21.5 x 17.5 x 1.5. The "floater" frame is painted black on the sides and inside rim and antique gold on the front. This type of frame creates a narrow space between the painting and the inside rim of the frame, showing off the painting's depth.
